So I never posted about the Bear or Sydcarmy before, but here we go:

Was reading some of the Bear script, it says it’s a draft, and I started reading the 2x2 one "Pasta"

And noticed how they change this 😭 Carmy was so…. Love the Sydcarmy banter too 🤣

Also anyone knows where to find the 2x9 "Omelette" script? I only have the one from 2x1 to 2x7, and the pilot one

the way that the bear is able to make you feel this oppressive absence before it ever endears you to Mikey. the show starts and he's already dead, and you start to empathize because you love carmy. and then ceres. then Christmas. then napkins. and it just twists the knife because you know how this ends but you still want to go through the screen and save Mikey. save carmy. save sugar.

but you can't. and mikey is already dead. and there's nothing you can do to change it.

Sydcarmy as a ship is only crazy because they have manage to have a fidelity contract, build a house, have a baby, recite wedding vows to each other and likely have a very public break up before they even kiss.

Carmy likes to de-stress after work.

The cigarette hung low from his lips, smoke flooding out through his nostrils along with a loud sigh. His hands curled around your waist to keep you flush against his chest, his cologne lingering on the plain t-shirt that stretched across his muscles. “Fuck, I needed this.”

Work had been shit, the nearly 100-hour work weeks had left him utterly exhausted. He just craved the weight of your body against his. God, didn't he always? You never left his mind, though today it had been much harder to get you off of it, and his tight grip proved that. It was like you were going to evaporate—disappear from his arms if he shut his eyes too long. So he kept them trained on the ceiling.

“Richie’s bein’ a dick again, turns out working in a restaurant isn't fucking easy. I mean, god, I swear I hadn't gotten a second of peace until I came home.” His palms dragged up-and-down against your skin, fingertips barely ghosting over your waist as he touched with such a gentle nature. He was terrified of hurting you, like he always did to everyone at The Beef. “Shit, I almost forgot about it all when I saw you, though. In these sexy pajamas,” he pinches at your side, chuckling against your ear before pressing a kiss to your temple, slipping his thumb underneath the hem of your worn-down sleep shirt.

“When this place gets good, I mean real good,” he takes another slow drag of the cigarette, before tipping his hand away and towards the ashtray. “I’ll take you wherever you wanna go. What do you wanna see, hm? Italy? We could, uh…go drink wine with rich people. I’ll buy you whatever you want when we get there.” Putting his cigarette out, he drops the remnants into the ceramic and wraps his other arm around you, sufficiently weighing you down against him.

“Just stay with me, yeah? Stay with me while I get it all figured out.”
